My name is Michelle Kamakeeaina and Belinda Lua is a friend and coworker of mine. On October 5, 2022 after several months of not feeling well Belinda learned that she has Gastric Cancer. Belinda stays focused on helping others and less on herself. This news was devastating to her and her family. She is one of the strongest, most dedicated people I know and she is going to kick cancer's ass.

I know this to be true because we work together at Enloe Rehabilitation Hospital in Chico CA. Belinda is one of the best CNA's that I know. She creates an environment of care and compassion for her patients as if they were part of her extended family. She nurtures and guides them on their journey to get home.

Belinda has 4 incredible children, Madelyn 12, Abigail 9, Audrina 7 and Mateo 2. Her trek will be long and this Care Campaign will help with expenses such as medical bills, rent, transportation and food during the 3 months of chemo, surgery, and then chemo again.

Belinda is a fantastic, proud individual and it can be challenging for her ask for help. That's why I feel it's my responsibility to put it out to the universe. I know it takes an army to fight against cancer. She and her family appreciate all that everyone has done for her.
