Please help our friends. Their entire town burned completely to the ground. Natalie, Bryan, and Martin made it out of Paradise but lost everything. They have no home, clothes, belongings, and they’re not sure where they’re going next. Nat and Bryan just got married and Jake and I were lucky enough to visit them in Paradise. Seeing the town before it burned makes the enormity of the fire and loss that much more devastating. I’m not sure people fully understand the magnitude of what’s happened.
Nat, Bubba (Bryan) and Martin are kind wonderful, real people who need our help. They would never ask, so we’re asking for them. With our whole hearts, thank you. XOXOXOX

We were in Paradise, CA on October 6th and danced the night away at Natalie and Bubba’s wedding. We met at their house on their big day and drove to Stirling City with Bubba where they had the most beautiful ceremony filled with so much love and surrounded by the most beautiful people and trees.
Thank the universe they are together and escaped but they lost everything in the Camp Fire (what’s left of their home is pictured above). They left with their vehicles, their dog, and the shirts on their backs. Martin, Bubba’s brother who also lived in the home, is safe as well and is still in Butte County working with the Fire Department to contain the fire and on their recovery efforts as well.
We realize how lucky we are that it’s only a few weeks later and we’re here in San Diego. The reality that we could have been stuck in the fire with our friends is beyond heavy. Even more so now, that their regular every day life, having a home, clothes, a pillow case, utensils, a place to go to work, any standing structures left to live in, every day everything has come to a halt.
Bubba, Natalie and Martin would never ask for help, which is why we’re doing this for them. They don’t have anything at this time and they don’t have anywhere to go. Please help our friends by donating what you can. We whole heartedly thank you for your consideration.
THANK YOU to ALL emergency personnel, CA firefighters and first responders. We are forever grateful to the men and women rushing TOWARDS the flames to save lives and animals and homes.
