Camp Fire AGP Caregiver Support
Donation protected
The Camp Fire has changed the lives of many caregivers and residents at Amber Grove Place (AGP) assisted living for seniors with dementia. Our caregivers understand and accept the responsibility that comes with caring for elders with dementia. Many of these dedicated individuals have lost homes and are living in shelters because of the Camp Fire, but continue to serve the residents at AGP in spite of these difficulties. Our mission to protect, engage and love elders living with memory loss comes at a great cost to our caregivers who find themselves in need, but never complain as they work long hours to uphold these standards. Some of our dedicated staff now call AGP their home after losing their own to this terrible disaster. But they are not alone, as these same caregivers are now charged with ensuring the health and safety of many displaced residents, who once were called neighbors in Paradise, and are now called the same here in Chico. We ask that you please help these caregivers who have lost so much but continue to give their all for the some of the most vulnerable people of our society.
