Camp Curiosity is a multi-generational family-owned and run early childhood center and grade school, providing fun and educational experiences for children year-round. Their unique farm-like setting allows students to grow and explore through nature while developing appreciation for the beauty that surrounds them. Besides instilling a strong academic foundation for students, the staff at Camp Curiosity, through their example and teaching, also foster empathy, compassion, and generosity in the lives they touch. They have created a family-like setting and show exemplary care for their students that is unmatched.
With the government mandates in place to help mitigate the effects of COVID-19, Camp Curiosity has not been able to provide services to its’ families and students since March 13th. The staff have worked extremely hard to coordinate with professionals regarding decisions to be made, maintain campus needs, create new online educational tools, connect with financial institutions, take care of their own family and personal needs and plan for the unknown in an effort to navigate through the unanticipated and extensive effects this closure has caused their center.
We are asking not only the Camp Curiosity community, but anyone who may be so inclined, to donate to this fund to help provide relief to the staff and leaders of Camp Curiosity, in order to lessen the economic impact they are feeling during this unprecedented time. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will allow Camp Curiosity to continue to provide education, love, and laughter to the children of our future. This is our chance to give back in some small way to an organization who has given so much.
