Camp Alima Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and equipping high school girls in Morocco with the tools to explore careers in STEM. Our mission is to bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing hands-on learning experiences and mentorship opportunities.
Each year, we design a tailored STEM curriculum that is taught during our immersive, week-long summer camp. The camp follows a two-pronged approach:
Hands-on Science & Experimentation: Students engage in interactive experiments that bring STEM concepts to life. Through guided hypothesis development, testing, and data interpretation, they gain practical skills that reinforce their classroom learning.
Career Mentorship & Leadership: We connect students with Moroccan professionals working in STEM fields—including biology, chemistry, and computer science—who share their experiences, challenges, and career advice. These mentorship sessions empower students to see a future for themselves in industries where women remain underrepresented.
Camp Alima is more than just a summer camp—it’s a movement to cultivate curiosity, confidence, and opportunity for young women in Morocco. With your support, we can continue to expand our reach, enhance our curriculum, and inspire the next generation of leaders in STEM!
