Cami’s Recovery Fund for Gender Affirming Surgery

Camila is an immigrant latinx trans woman who has dedicated her life to studying the mind, body and spirit. For many years Camila was an undocumented queer young person and has come to realize the importance of self preservation as a form of survival. Her work hopes to center the health and wellness of everyone.

Through this work, Camila has also come to know the importance of self expression through creative outlets. She is an interdisciplinary artist who uses art as a form of therapeutic meditation. Her art encourages others to express their unique spirits and life experiences. Human expression is essential for all.

As a working class, Bronx-based immigrant, unfortunately Camila does not receive health benefits from her current places of work and is seeking assistance to secure housing, food, and aid while she heals from gender affirming surgery. Donations from this fund will allow her to stay in the Bronx and support her financially during recovery. Any and all donations are appreciated.
