Cami's Motorcycle Accident Recovery Fund

Donation protected
My name is Christina, and on June 2nd, 2022, my dear friend Cami was struck by an SUV while riding her motorcycle to work.

Cami was riding eastbound on Chicago Avenue around 4 pm on Thursday when an SUV traveling westbound struck her nearly head-on when making a left turn into McDonald’s. Cami’s body was ejected from her motorcycle and she was rushed to Stroger Hospital while sustaining four fractures in her left tibia, a broken right arm and the loss of her left thumb.

Cami is a Sommelier by trade and an incredibly talented knitter by passion. A Romanian immigrant, her only Chicago family are her two rescue dogs, Maya and Scotch, while her son is away serving in the United States Army.

Cami has a long road to recovery ahead of her and will be transferred from the hospital into an in-patient rehab facility indefinitely.

We are asking for financial support with her daily living expenses and ongoing medical bills during these difficult times. While the damage is insurmountable, every little bit helps.

Thank you!
