Hi, my name is Maria and along with my good friend Eleanor, we are going to be walking stage two of the Camino. I decided to walk the Camino in aid of my auntie Mary who passed away, after a long battle with cancer, in September 2022. She was cared for in her final days in the North West Hospice in Sligo.

The work the Hospice does is nothing short of heroic. By doing this walk, is only a tiny way I can give back to the Hospice for the amazing work they carry out and how they cared for Mary in her final days. The care and compassion shown by all volunteers in the Hospice is extremely special and we will forever be grateful.

All funds raised will go 100% direct to the North West Hospice, we are funding our own way there and for our accommodation.
