Hi everyone, my name is Polina.

This September, I’ve decided to make one of my long-time dreams come true: I’m finally going to walk the Camino de Santiago. This has been a dream of mine for five years, and I finally have the time to make it happen.

I’m dedicating this journey to my mom, who passed away from cancer 13 years ago. I believe she lost her battle because there wasn’t enough research and not enough opportunities to save her. She was still very young. This walk is deeply meaningful and symbolic for me to honour her life and to raise funds for cancer organizations along the way that help people with cancer.
