Hi, family and friends!

This August (8/1-9/3) I will be joining thousands of pilgrims in walking the St. James’ ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella, Spain (El Camino de Santiago). I will be walking the French Route (El Camino Francés-Highlighted red on the map) starting at Roncesvalles, Spain, which is 468.1 miles (753.4 km) long, so I will be walking for about 33 days from the eastern border of Spain all the way to the western coast.

I have been waiting and praying to embark on this spiritual and transforming journey for the last 10 years. This journey will be one of gratitude to the Lord for the 60 years of life that he has given me. I actually will turn 60 during the pilgrimage, so there is a lot to be thankful for.
