Camille's Medical Fundraiser

Hey, my name's Max and I'm raising funds for my girlfriend Camille. 2 years ago, she got really sick and was unable to digest any food. Unfortunately she never fully recovered. She lost almost 50 lbs and spent thousands on tests/medications, while she was unable to work for months. After some time, she finally was able to hold down food again. However, in the past few months, her colon has completely stopped working. At the end of December, we had to take her to the ER twice. She was already previously diagnosed with PCOS, Colitis, and Barrett's esophagus, but they need to run more tests to figure out what is causing this, including some new issues with her liver. She has never been able to go to a decent doctor, but with the severity of her current state, we have to take this as seriously as possible. We found a specialist that might be able to help and have the first of several procedures scheduled. We've been building her design/renovation business for the past year, but she is unable to work with the new medication that she's taking and the pain she is experiencing. We do have a plan in place- we've taken out a loan on an Airstream that will be renovated and put on Air BNB so that she can receive passive income while healing, and I am searching for additional jobs myself. In the meantime, we just really need help. In September, the ceiling caved in in our apartment and most of our belongings were contaminated with toxic mold. We were staying with family and living out of suitcases until this month. We are slowly trying to get our lives back together. The timing of everything has been very stressful and any help that we could receive would be an incredible relief. My hope is that she will be able to focus on healing and not have to worry about the financial aspect of it. If you know Camille, you know that she is always eager to help everyone around her. She is selfless and has a hard time asking for help. However, she is getting sicker every week, and I know that stress isn't helping. Our first priority now is to get the testing that she needs ASAP. It's truly heartbreaking seeing all of this unfold firsthand. It's a helpless feeling, not knowing what's wrong and not knowing if we'll have the means to find out. I know that the $7,500 goal is a lot, and by no means do we expect to reach it. It was hard to know what to put, but these tests/procedures aren't going to be cheap. I really love her and I know a lot of you do too. I don't know really how much longer she can go without answers. We're doing everything we can. Any help would mean the world to us. Thank you so much!
