Camille was as fierce (and funny) as they come.
She lived her life to the fullest, and all who knew her are better for it.
Sadly our sweet Camille left this earth on October 18th, 2019.
She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
In an effort to memorialize our beautiful Camille, her friends have decided to organize this fundraiser with the intent to purchase a park bench with a custom plaque.
The park bench will be located on the Pittman Wash Trail in Henderson, NV.
The Pittman Wash Trail is especially significant to Camille. She ran on the trail when she trained for a half marathon back in 2006. She always hated running (and had no problem admitting it) but damn if she didn't push through the discomfort and cross the finish line ❤️ Which is so symbolic to how Camille lived her life.
Our hope is that this memorial bench will give her loved ones a peaceful & serene place to visit when they want to feel close to her.
The cost of the bench and custom plaque is $1400, and it will take 6-8 weeks to complete.
The funds will need to be paid in full by 11/6 so the parks department can begin working on the bench.
Camille's friend Allyson will be in charge of final expenses, and will complete the $1400 payment to the "Celebrate Life Commemorative Program" with the City Of Henderson.
