Camille & Bird's Soar Again Fund

Dearest community, friends, and extended family, 

It's important to band together when we can. As they say... it takes a village.

Our dear Camille’s son, Ira (Bird) has returned  home after 2 months in the hospital due to a traumatic brain injury. It has been a deeply challenging time for Camille and her family. That said, we are so excited and proud of Ira's progress! Ira is doing incredibly well and is getting back to many of his favorite activities including music, cooking and exercise. Camille wants you to know that your kindness and encouragement have been a lifeline throughout the pain, fear and isolation of the past couple of months. 

Ira has between 2-4 appointments per day for rehab and needs an adult at home with him 24/7. Camille has been on intermittent unpaid leave from work since the accident in January. Due to the level of support Ira needs at this time, she will be on leave for the rest of the school year. It is difficult to anticipate the level of support Ira will need in the Fall, but it is possible that Camille will need to take other intermittent leave.

I'm creating this support page to allow a pathway for financial contributions to ease some of the challenge that Camille is facing. I cannot imagine all that Camille and her sweet son, Bird are navigating. If you're able to help contribute to this very precious family, please do so.
