It is with a heavy heart that I reach out today for my oldest and dearest friend Camille.
She has suffered a stroke which led to emergency surgery. She is without movement on her left side of her body and drooping.
Speech is slurred but understandable.
As devastating as this is, we have to find her a home for her 2 kitties that she has been crying over relentlessly. Her landlord has requested her things be moved out including her cats. There are a few more medical issues along with her stroke making it impossible for her to leave hospital. Our greatest hope is to find a home for her kitties and prepare a home for Camille if and when she can be independent.
at this time, her sister is struggling with phone calls to medical facilities, disability, cat shelters which is heartbreaking and trying to save her vehicle all while packing her belongings and visiting her many miles away.
if you could give her cats a home or donate it would help cover the cost of her medical bills, food and shelter in the coming months. I think of her to be invincible but none of us are. Her laugh is something I do not hear anymore. I miss her beautiful smile and soul and hope you can do anything to help. Thank you so much.
