Camilla Darling

On March 20th 2020 Camilla Darling Wilks entered the world, beautiful and perfect. My cousin, Jenessa and her husband Tyler were absolutely ecstatic. Unfortunately, on March 23rd Jenessa just knew something wasn’t right and  took Cami to the hospital in Midland, from there she was flown to a larger hospital in Lubbock where they ran all the tests they could and failed to find the cause of her continued health issues. Cami was then flown to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth where they ran even more tests and determined that she was born with a genetic condition called Nonketotic-Hyperglycinemia. There are still many many more tests needed to determine how to proceed with care which we do know will be lifelong treatment as there is no cure for this condition. We are setting up this page to help shoulder some of the medical bills that will undoubtedly be substantial and to take some of that worry off of my cousin Jenessa and her husband Tyler. Jenessa, Tyler and their families are heartbroken. We are also asking for continued prayers in this time of unknown. Thank you all for your help and support.
