Family and friends, my name is Shauna Rogers. Thank you in advance for your support of the life of an extraordinary person, our dear friend Cami Evans. It is with heavy hearts that we ask you to remember and honor a woman who fought a fierce battle against leiomyosarcoma, a battle she faced with remarkable strength, grace, and resilience.
Cami was not just a friend; she was a beacon of light, an embodiment of joy, and an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her vibrant personality was infectious, and her laughter could light up the darkest of rooms. She had a unique ability to uplift those around her, bringing positivity and warmth wherever she went.
Cami dedicated her life to making a difference, especially in the lives of her students. As a teacher to those facing challenging circumstances, she went above and beyond to help them overcome their hardships. Her commitment to education was more than a job; it was a calling, a mission to empower others with knowledge and resilience.
In the workplace, Cami was an amazing coworker, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Her dedication to her colleagues mirrored her commitment to her students, creating a supportive and collaborative environment for everyone. Cami's enthusiasm and energy were contagious, making the workplace a better and more enjoyable space for all.
Outdoorsy activities held a special place in Cami's heart. She was always eager to embrace new adventures, to feel the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. Whether it was hiking or simply enjoying nature, Cami embraced the outdoors with the same zest for life that defined her. She was fortunate to spend some time with her dear dog Jovi in her camper that she made her home as she traveled experiencing many campsites.
Above all, Cami lived for her children, Payton and Lexi. Her love for them was boundless, and she welcomed her soon-to-be son-in-law, Pardeep with open arms and a loving spirit. She was very close to her “pappy” Brent, her brother, Chris, her sister in law and nephews. Family was at the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with those she held dear.
We will always celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and the impact she had on the lives of others will continue to ripple through time.
With everything she did for her friends and community it is now our turn to come together for her. Her children will be planning multiple celebrations of life because Cami was loved by so many. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
We hope that you carry forward the lessons Cami taught us—about resilience, kindness, and the importance of living life to the fullest. May her spirit continue to inspire us to live with the same passion and love that she embodied till her very last day.
