Camerons Soccer Experience
Donation protected
As many of you may know, my 12 year old son has been chosen out of a selected few players to play soccer overseas in England, representing one of the best academies in Ontario, Chantilly Academy. He had to attend 3 tryouts, to which he made it the very first tryout, and was one out of 14 chosen out of 150 players, from other teams across Ontario. This is such an exciting opportunity for him and his future. I couldn't be more proud. Coming from such a small city such as Brantford, these opportunities are limited.
Putting my pride aside, and realizing that there are far more important causes for a go fund me account, this is in support for my son, to achieve his dream and to have the chance to experience something truly incredible.
The cost of this trip is $5970.00 Canadian. I was not made aware of the U.K tryouts until the end of August. Being a single mother of two, this has been very challenging and overwhelming to come up with this amount in such a short time as the departure date is set for November 18th. I am doing everything in my power to make this trip happen for him. I am picking up as many shifts that I am offered, on top of my regular working hours, to pay for the cost.
My son has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old. I decided to advance him to the next level, which is rep, at the age of 9 years old. Since he started playing, even at 6, his talent was noticed, as well as recognized, as something truly remarkable. He is one very exceptional, talented child athletically. His skills over the years have only progressed, and truly excelled in all aspects of the sport. He will be moving on from rep this year to play for the same academy to which he will representing over in England.
Making a Go Fund Me is something that makes me really uncomfortable doing, however, any donation to which I am to receive will be greatly appreciated, never forgotten, and will be completely humbled by your acts of kindness.
