Cameron's Critical Equipment Fund
Donation protected
My name is Angela, my son Cameron is 15 year old who was born with Panhypopituitarism and Cerebral Palsy. He requires a multitude of adaptive items to maintain a level of normalcy. He is unable to care for himself in any capacity which requires my husband and I to provide 100% of his care (feeding, toileting, bathing and transfers just to name a few). Because we are married (and have been since 2005) and both work we are disqualified for any financial or medical assistance for Cameron’s needs. We pay out of pocket for all medication, diapers, medical bills and durable medical equipment that Cameron requires. This has caused a HUGE financial and emotional toll on us and our family. Cameron is in DESPERATE need of several equipment items. Currently he needs a bath chair, adapted bed and custom manual wheelchair. Although asking for help is not something I like to do, I feel like I have no choice but to ask for help from the community. I’m swallowing my pride and asking for donations to help us purchase what Cameron needs. I was just quoted $9,163.20 for his bed and $1,576.00 for the bath chair. We have not gotten the quote for his manual wheelchair yet. If you are able to help us get Cameron what he needs, we would be forever grateful. These are necessities for him and will help him to live a happy, healthy and comfortable life - which is all any of us deserve. Thank you all in advance for your love and support for my sweet boy.
