Cameron Sloan was in a accident on July 4th, 2021 while camping with his sister, Calie & friends at Philbrook. He was air flighted to Enloe Hospital.
By the grace of God, he has slowly began making improvements. However, this journey is far from over. Cameron needs to be transferred to an Acute Brain Trauma Rehab Facility. The location where he’ll be transferred is still up in the air. They do know the closest one appropriate for him is Santa Rosa or Santa Clara. His momma, Stacy and family have been by his side at Enloe and will continue to be a huge part of his recovery. Stacy will be going wherever he’s transferred. Due to COVID regulations, the facilities aren’t allowing people to stay the night with the patient. They’ll have visiting hours and she’ll be by his side during those. Due to these regulations, they need to figure out lodging- This is a huge expense so they’re exploring different ideas: Airbnb’s, hotels, the possibility of knowing someone she can stay with that lives in the area, borrowing a RV... Pretty much anything under the sun that’s a possibility, they’re open to it.
Thankfully, Cameron’s Dad, Chad has health insurance but they still need to pay his deductible for the year. I’d really like to come together and relieve some of the financial stress they’re encountering. If you’re in a position to help bless this family, please do.
