Hi, my name is Kayla. My older brother got the unfortunate diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Cameron has the gene that predisposes him to this cancer making recovery incredibly long and difficult. He will need continuous chemotherapy and eventually a bone marrow transplant at the young age of 30.
He has a wife, Christina, and a beautiful one year old baby boy named Asher. Cameron is the bread winner of his family but due to his diagnosis and sensitive condition, he will be out of work for at least 6 months. His wife is only able to work 1-2 days a week as she spends all of her time caring for Asher.
Cameron and his family need help! They need funds to support day to day life like baby food, gas, and housing while Cameron is at Moffitt, an hour away from home. My parents are doing everything they can to cover what bills Cameron and Christina have but it’s not sustainable.
Anyone who knows Cameron knows that he is too humble to ask for help, that’s why I am doing it! Please. I know it’s cliche to say that anything helps, but it truly does. Even if you’re not able to donate, please share this link. It will hopefully reach someone who is able and willing to give to Cameron and his precious family.
Cameron needs to focus on recovering from this aggressive cancer. Please help me take the financial burden off him and his family.
