Cameron and Family

Donation protected

One month ago to the day , I almost lost my
oldest child . Cameron had text me while I was at work complaining of not feeling well .
Instead of blowing it off and by the grace of
god and whatever gut instinct I had , I called
my step daughter to have her check on him
and he was unresponsive.

Cameron was rushed to BMC and later that
day transferred to Baystate . Not being able to
speak , move or even feel his left side , he
endured multiple tests and a week long stay in
the hospital .

Many people have asked to donate money and I  happily delclined , being the mother and
family we are , I thought it was going to be ok .  My work schedule has been affected , money
is going out faster than it is coming in and the
the medical bills are slowly coming in , the
copays ,the tests , the ambulance ride etc . We
will soon be traveling to Boston for more
answers and tests and there is no way of
knowing when Cameron will be 100%, when
he will be able to have full range of motion in
his leg , walk and talk at the same time or even
when he will work again .

I am taking the advice of some people that
have encouraged me to put myself out there
and ask for help .

Given the circumstances of the world today , I do not expect anything , but I figure it is worth a
shot . I am beyond proud of how far Cameron
has come from the beginning of this and I have
all the faith in the world that he will be back to
himself .
