Hi family and friends. I have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with Folsom High School Choir at the National Youth Choir Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City which takes place March 21-24. Would you consider donating to support me?
Most of you know that I love music and performing arts; I’ve done plays and musicals, play the piano, and did voice for 1 year until we moved to CA where I joined choir. Singing at Carnegie Hall with many talented students from around the country and highly renowned conductors will help grow my knowledge, skills, and passion for singing and performance.
My goal is raise at least $1500 by March 20 toward my student package cost of $2500 which includes:
- Extensive group rehearsals with outstanding, internationally known adjudicators and conductors
- Orientation sessions
- 4 night hotel accommodations in quad rooms in a Manhattan hotel
- Excursions to Top of the Rock, 9-11 Memorial, One World Observatory, and “Wicked” on Broadway
- Professional photo and Certificate of Achievement for each student
- Travel insurance
Additional expenses we’re responsible for are transportation, most of my meals, and my dad’s chaperone fees (there’s no way my parents would’ve sent me to NYC by myself). I’ve saved my Christmas, birthday and babysitting money for this. I would be so grateful for your generous support.
