Hi, I’m Emily, an actor originally from the West Midlands, and I’m raising funds to bring a one-woman play I wrote to life at the Camden Fringe at the Cafe Libra in Camden.

I wrote this piece about a year ago, and it’s incredibly close to my heart. I’m so excited that it’s been officially accepted into the festival, but as an independent production, there are upfront costs that I can’t cover alone - including venue hire and marketing.

The play is a comedy, but at its core it’s deeply personal and sentimental. It explores what it means to navigate relationships in all their forms; romantic relationships, family dynamics, and the relationship we have with ourselves.

It dives into breakups and the self-deprecation, and the messy, complicated situations we often find ourselves in, the kind you can laugh about later (even if they didn’t feel funny at the time).

At its heart, it’s about finding your footing again after life as you know it completely changes, rebuilding, rediscovering who you are, and reconnecting with people that make you feel loved.

Any donations will go directly towards putting this show on, helping cover production costs and giving it the platform it deserves at Camden Fringe, you'll also get a mention in the programme!

If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much. Thank you so much for supporting independent theatre and helping me bring this story to life.
