My Dearest Tony,
This is a letter I was hoping I would never have to write you. You were such an amazing,
wonderful man. I now know just how blessed I was to have 14 wonderful years with you. To say
we have had our share of ups and downs would definitely be an understatement. I just cannot
believe you are no longer with me. Yesterday was the worst day of my life. I never thought in a
million years that when we said goodbye to each other yesterday morning it would be the very
last time we would ever have that opportunity. These last few years were very challenging, but
we always tried to do our very best. There are so many things I love about you. Some of your
absolute best traits were your unwavering love for family and your determination to make
everyone around you laugh and smile. Your smile was contagious. I am just not ready for this
next step, I am not ready to live the rest of my life without you. I am not ready to raise these three
kids alone. I am not ready to wake up every morning without you. I don't want to go to bed every
night knowing I won't ever get to cuddle with you or be kissed by you again. I'm just not ready
for this. I absolutely hate that you have been taken away from me. I promise you that I will do the
best job I can to raise our beautiful children. Thank you for giving me the most precious gifts I've
ever received-- Emme, Max, and Isla. I will honor your spirit in everything I do.
