Hello, my name is Leslie Pinto and I am a junior in high school from Panorama City. Being the second oldest, I was always told to be a good example for my four younger siblings. Coming from a low income family has not made things easy for me. I have always tried to set all obstacles aside to be the excellent role model I desire to be. All of my accomplishments and successes are due to perseverance, being involved in school, and working hard in everything I do.
I am proud to say that after multiple rounds of eliminations, I am one of the few students who earned a spot in the Oxbridge Academic Programs. This program is a once in a lifetime opportunity that allows me to participate in an academic college program at the University of Cambridge for an entire month!  To get the best learning experience, I will be majoring in Engineering and minoring in Psychology.
By donating to my Go Fund Me, you all will be supporting me in being able to study abroad this summer in one of the most prestigious colleges there is! It’s a huge accomplishment for a first generation student coming from a low income family to receive such an astonishing opportunity like this. I am eternally grateful and appreciative for all the support and donations!
