Friends & Fam,
I am excited to officially launch my campaign for my next exciting farming venture in Cambodia and Japan. #FAM (Farming as ministry) is back and stronger than ever!
WHAT:
Proceeds from this fundraising campaign will be going toward our (Harvest Craft’s) new project in Cambodia and helping finance some of my airfare costs and other travel expenses for farmer relations visits in the tsunami affected agriculture towns in Northern Japan. Similar to our other global projects, we will be empowering underprivileged communities in developing countries by providing environmental education and communally based agro-ecology farming systems that will equip these people with an economic gain, while providing for their immediate physical needs through healthy organic produce.
WHY:
Harvest Craft (Check out this video highlighting our Haiti project) has been involved with a variety of projects globally, including Haiti, Mexico and Southern California. Our Cambodia project will specifically focus on implementing an aquaponic system, nursery, kitchen gardens, a chicken coup to produce eggs and a variety of fruit trees for long-term production. This project will be developed at a sex trafficking rehabilitation center, where girls have been rescued from the sex trade industry in Cambodia and will undergo therapy and vocational training. The goal of the project is to both educate and create economic sustainability for the center, staff, and the girls alike.
WHO:
I am excited to share we (Harvest Craft) are partnering with Agape International and Mariner’s Church , two phenomenal groups dedicated to the highest quality work and making real long-term impact.
In Japan, we will be linking up with various farmers that Tanaka Farms has supported over the last several years.
All donations are Tax Deductable. Harvest Craft is an official 501(c)(3) non-profit.
