Cambodia expedition Camps International 2025

Hi, my name is Sian, I'm 15 years old and have been given the chance to embark upon a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Camps International travelling around Cambodia for 4 weeks in July 2025.
Whilst there I will be living alongside rural communities and wildlife reserves and will be helping to complete projects that will enhance and improve those communities lives whilst protecting their environment and conserving local wildlife. I have set up this page to help me raise the funds for this life-changing expedition.
Camps International conservation projects have helped protect 100,000 hectares of wilderness in 7 of the worlds biodiversity hotspots and they have positively impacted on the lives of over 120,000 people by supporting communities to improve their living standards.
When I am in Cambodia, I will be helping in projects such as building schools kitchens and kindergartens, installing community toilet blocks, building bridges to help children get to school safely and also environmental work such as replenishing forests ravaged by deforestation and taking part in beach clean ups to remove damaging plastics and waste.
I am so excited to have this opportunity and hope the experience will enable me to gain self confidence and important life skills such as leadership, communication, team building, independence and problem solving.
The cost of the expedition is £4530 and on top of that I will need to purchase kit, visas and immunisations. A large part of this experience is raising my own funds to get there! I will be doing various fundraising activities over the next 14 months to achieve this (whilst also revising for my GCSEs), and I'm busy brainstorming. I am asking if you are able to donate, please give as little or as much as you can.
