Hi, Kris & Adam Camacho here & we're excitedly preparing to serve with A Jesus Mission as part of their Ukrainian Response team.

As many of you know, Kris was able to serve with A Jesus Mission for two weeks in March 2022. It all started a week prior to her travels when an A Jesus Mission video was played in church. In the video, it was described that help was needed as AJM served the Ukrainian people impacted by the war. Both Adam & Kris were moved by the video and, after a quick prayer & discussion, it seemed only natural to click the link and apply. AJM responded to Kris's application within a few hours and, long story short, she was off to Romania to serve in a church shelter about 6 days later. Adam was unable to take the days off during March but committed to supporting Kris & praying about an opportunity to serve later in the year.

While in Romania in March, God did such beautiful work in and around Kris. He provided in amazing ways - from the money needed to fund the trip (which, amazingly, was never even asked for but was generously supplied both by family and by people she had never even met) to the details of the work she was able to do in Romania serving refugee children and families at the Deo Gloria shelter. During that trip, God also opened Kris's eyes to what it means to "see" Jesus and be part of His body. Throughout her trip, she saw Jesus through the work of the people serving, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of her life. To serve alongside these people as just one small part of Jesus' hands & feet was both humbling and faith-building. Upon returning to California, God has used the trip to Cluj Romania like a stone thrown into the water, sending out ripples in every direction. The testimony of provision and impacts is absolutely humbling and breathtaking. If you ever get a chance, please ask Kris about: Travel mercies & provisions, God using whatever you have to offer, ministering along with "professional" missionaries, NOT being alone, sitting quietly with God, journaling, speaking at church, meeting up with missionaries from Romania in California, and much much more! God is real, Jesus is alive, and His Spirit is absolutely moving. There hasn't been a day that has passed in which she hasn't thought of the work being done throughout Eastern Europe and the people serving and loving one another in Jesus' name.

God has continued building a testimony for Himself as Adam worked with his team at Endsight to organize a time to travel and serve with A Jesus Mission as well. Amazingly, Endsight is supporting Adam's desire to go drive aid vans for AJM through the month of July! He is already humbled and moved by the hundreds of strings, the details, God is knitting together in order to construct this upcoming trip.

On July 3, Kris and Adam will be headed to Cluj, Romania to serve with A Jesus Mission for one month. We would love to have your support in praying for safety as we travel and serve as well as the important work of love being walked out for the Ukrainian people in this time of extreme hardship and crisis.
