May 2nd, 2020, we lost a beloved member of our family, my dear father, Carlos Camacho. His passing was due to complications caused by COVID-19 and has been very difficult on all of us. Carlos was an essential employee at St Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, risking his health to help as much as he could during this pandemic.
He was a wonderful husband to the love of his life, Susy, an amazing father to his two children, Susy and Brian, and a kind friend to many. He was someone who always offered to help those in need and has touched the lives of many in his community and will never be forgotten. His wife and children could use all the love and support they can get during this hard time in their lives.
Carlos had a big, vibrant smile, and a very unique laugh that was his trademark. He enjoyed good food, parties filled with laughter and joy, loved to live his life to the fullest, and we know he would want his family to do the same; to live the best version of their lives they possibly could and to try to be the happiest version of themselves they can be. He would want his family to make it through this hard time, and see that there’s still much happiness, laughter, and beauty this world has to offer.
During these unprecedented times, our family is grieving over a loving husband, father, and overall beautiful soul that was taken too soon. This GoFundMe is for Carlos’ funeral costs, along with payments he left behind, as well as a mortgage that we now have to try and support.
