Update - Saturday October 7th

We are beyond grateful on Cams behalf for the tremendous support this Go Fund Me has received. It surpassed our hopes by leaps & bounds, and as such we will be taking it down tomorrow.

We want to give a heartfelt thank you for all that contributed online here and in person at Cams celebration Thursday Night.

The donations from Thursday came to $2,852.05 when added to the Go Fund Me funds equal over $9,600.00

raised.

Funds will go to all end of life costs associated with Cams passing. Any remaining funds will be donated in Cams name equally between CJSW Funding Drive and The Heart & Stroke Foundation.

We want to extend our profound thank you to those who came together to aid, manage and celebrate the end of life of an individual in their community.

In particular these individuals who rallied in support of Cams family and friends;

The doctors and EMT who worked so hard to save Cam.

Chixdiggit, Julius Sumner Miller and Dj Djewel all of whom came down and donated their performances on very short notice, not necessarily because Cam was a close friend, but because he was a fan.

The people from Annex Ales and Pabst Canada for their generous donations and who came down in support of Cam’s celebration.

…and all who shared pictures and memories with us.

We know Cam would be so proud.

On Thursday night, October 5th we are gathering at The Ship to remember and celebrate our friend Cam.

We expect many to turn up as Cam knew a lot of people, was out often enthusiastically supporting the local music scene and was not a shy fella.

The evening will also be a fundraiser, to help with end of life expenses.

Music was a great passion of Cams and it felt like celebrating him without it just wouldn't be right, so reached out to one of Cams all time local favorite bands to see if they would play in honor of him and they made it happen!

CHIXDIGGIT will be performing a special set in Cams honor, and will be followed by other local legends Julius Sumner Miller.

Through the gracious support of Annex Ales and Pabst we will be raising money through the sale of their product. There will also be a donation box on site. This Go Fund Me was set up for the many that can't be here and have reached out to see how they can donate their support from afar.

Should there be any funds left over after paying expenses we will donate them equally in support of CJSW 2023 Funding Drive and The Heart & Stroke Foundation on Cams behalf.
