It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share a difficult update. Our beloved Cam unfortunately passed away late in the night on Wednesday December 10th. Cam never gave up the fight. He battled until the very end and passed away on his own terms. His incredible strength and spirit were evident in every moment, and he leaves behind a legacy of resilience, courage, and most of all, love.
We are all struggling to come to grips with the loss of the glue that held our extended family together. Family gatherings will never be the same without his laughter, warmth, and presence, but we know he will always be there with us in spirit.
We understand that this is an incredibly tough time of year. However, we are asking for your continued love and support for Cam’s loving wife and two children. They now face the unimaginable challenge of navigating life without their partner and father.
While they have an incredible support system of friends and family, any additional help you can provide through this GoFundMe would be very much appreciated as they move forward in his absence.
Please help us extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to Cam's immediate family during this very difficult time. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness throughout this journey.
Anyone who knew Cam knows he ended every conversation and goodbye with his signature phrase: "Peace and Love." We can't imagine a more fitting farewell.
Peace and Love Cam. You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Our cousin Cam is going through one of the toughest battles of his life, and we’re reaching out for support.
Everything was seemingly fine until June 1st, when tariffs resulted in Cam being laid-off from his company. Just as he was figuring out his next steps—working diligently on starting his own company—he got sick on July 18. On September 8, Cam underwent a 9-hour Whipple surgery—an extremely complex operation where doctors remove parts of the pancreas, small intestine (duodenum), stomach, and bile duct in order to treat the cancer growing in his duodenum. Recovery from this surgery is long and difficult, often taking six months to a year before patients can get back on their feet.
To make matters harder, Cam’s severance package ends on September 30—just weeks after his surgery—leaving his family facing a challenging road ahead with no safety net.
Cam is, first and foremost, a family man. He puts his wife, kids, and extended family before himself every single day. His wife is a dedicated teacher, and together they are raising two incredible kids, ages 15 and 12, who are both active in rep sports. While they’re holding strong, the financial strain of this situation is heavy.
That’s why we, his family, are coming together to help. We’re asking for your support to give Cam the time he needs to heal without the added stress of worrying about bills, groceries, and the cost of keeping life as normal as possible for his kids.
We also understand this is a hard economic time for ALL families. If you’re not able to give, we completely understand—your well wishes, prayers, and simply sharing this page mean the world to Cam and all of us.
If you know Cam, you know he’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. Now, it’s our turn to show him that same love and support.
Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Cam and his family through this recovery period. Thank you for standing with Cam and his family during this difficult time.
