Calypso Car Shot Up in Robbery Attempt

Hi Everyone,
On January 18 of this year, I was shot at 11 times while trying to put on a driving playlist. I pulled over in New Orleans East and was headed home to Slidell when I heard what sounded like gunshots. It wasn’t clear that they were in fact gun shots until my driver’s window shattered all over me. I put the car in drive and slammed my foot on the gas as more shots came flying towards the car. It was probably the scariest moment of my life and i havent even fully processed how lucky I am to be alive right now.
Currently, my car is at the police impound (for free as I am a victim) and is waiting for me to pick it up to be repaired. Yall, i cannot afford this. My insurance is so trash theyre not going to cover this AT ALL. The window and labor itself will cost abt $400 and I haven’t been able to work as much seeing as Im dependent on others until my car is drivable.
Im asking for $2000 to cover the cost of the repairs and bills i havent been able to pay for this past month because of the incident (rent, carnote, utilities) and be able to move into my own apartment next month .
Ive tried EVERYTHING to handle this myself, but I need help. Please give even $5 if you can, if not help spread the word!
