Calvin Depew needs our help

For many of us, Calvin Depew was the first person called when we needed help.

Mechanical help, a tow, whatever, Calvin would willingly help, always with some sarcastic remark when thanked.

This is our opportunity to help Calvin, a good friend, good husband, good uncle, good brother,  good son… a good man. On Thursday they amputated below his knee on one leg.

Four years ago Calvin and Steph were working hard and living the dream. Calvin’s business was thriving, their house was well maintained, the bills were paid and they had an amazing ’70 Mustang Twister Pro Street car that was in Pinks All out, even a celebrity.

Then Calvin got an infection in his foot.

His Type 1 Diabetes prevented heroic efforts to kill this infection. First they amputated a toe, then most of his foot, now this. Over the last 4 years, Calvin has been in pain, on powerful meds and very limited in the work he could do.

Steph’s income has allowed them to survive but they desperately need some help to make their bathroom handicap accessible and to help with the huge Healthcare deductible costs.
