Calvin Miller's Medical bills and expenses

Hello everyone, one of my closest friends, Calvin Miller was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in April of 2023. When you get a cancer diagnosis, life as you know it stops, but life itself does not. He began chemotherapy treatment in Erie and for 3 long months would go up for his bloodwork and start the Chemo infusion then bring his treatment home. 48 hours later he would need to go back to Erie and drop off “Karen the Chemobag” as we dubbed it.
Try as he might, working a full day was tough, especially in the heat of June, July and August as the effects of Chemo wore on his body. However, Calvin being Calvin, did what he could to keep his business running. He also put forth a great effort to keep his commitments to the Full Pull Productions Truck and Tractor Pull Association and to his sponsors! Despite some setback with the truck, and some wonderful friends who helped get “Red” up and running again, he took points champion!
In true Calvin fashion, he also was very serious about keeping the track looking pristine at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. He elected to skip a treatment so that it would not interfere with his duties there.
Being self-employed, no insurance and with limited energy to work the hours required during treatments, my dear friend has some huge financial burdens looming over him. On top of those medical bills, he still has expenses as we all do, gas, truck payments, equipment payments for the business to name a few. On top if the mounting bills, his CT scan showed that Chemo didn’t shrink his tumor in the least. Last week he underwent a rigorous five-day radiation treatment, traveling to and from Erie each day. Needless to say, he couldn’t work, and the effects of that treatment are catching up with him. Calvin will be looking at surgeries, one to remove the tumor and put in a colostomy and then another to reverse it in the near future although unsure when.
What we do know is cancer feeds on stress in the body, and my dear friend is under a lot of it! Although he keeps smiling and moving and tries not to let on! He takes pride in his work ethic and his profession. Calvin Miller Land Services took a hard hit and this year and Calvin Miller an even harder hit personally.
For those of you who know Calvin, he would give you whatever you needed if he had it. His heart of gold has not tarnished with this diagnosis, he has a strong Faith and knows that giving up the life he planned and greeting the life that awaits him is FAITH.
I am seeking some financial help to ease the burden of finances. I know these are tough times for all. If you are led to give in any way, monetarily or just your prayers, I know that your gift would be most appreciated!
