 Hello, my name is Sylvie Lake and I’m raising funds for a memorial film project for Calvin LeBaron. The importance is indescribable. The funds will be used towards film materials, equipment, minimal travel expenses, and labor.

Our mission is to weave a narrative with the hypnotizing documentation of Calvin’s presence, collage the unrelenting fairytale-like glimpses, and journey down memory lane …to present Recuerdos. Calvin’s dream was to put out his album Recuerdos, so we will help his dreams come true.

…a friend wrote me recently that relationships never die, although people do. This made me wonder if there was a place all the forgotten memories lingered. Where we curse these experiences when we do not savor them…
