Calvillo's Fundraiser

On August 3rd, 2019 an armed man killed 22 people and injured another 26 at a local Walmart in El Paso, Texas. Among those victims was my father-in-law Jorge Calvillo, who died at the scene, and my husband Luis Calvillo, who is still fighting for his life. The pouring support of local and federal government has overwhelmed us and the rest of the victims of this attack, but we know that there will be long-lasting effects, physically and psychological, that will eventually outweigh the financial support. In an effort to begin thinking forward, we must realize that life must continue and one way or another we must move on. This fund will be used for that purpose and to help us heal and move forward.
