Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read about Mum's story, my running challenge through Northern Europe, and for considering donating.

Mum's story:

Mum was diagnosed with ALK-Positive Lung Cancer. Less than 11 months later, the heavens gained an angel, and I lost mine. The treatments that typically work for the majority of patients, unfortunately, did not work for Mum. The cancer was aggressive and progressed rapidly. We could not comprehend how it was less than 1 year from diagnosis until the end. As mum's fight got harder, the days got tougher.

Despite the diagnosis, Mum still faced every day with a spirit of kindness, love, and belief. Mum never stopped believing. During our final days, we spent some beautiful moments together. Mum’s spirit was incredible. I lost my best friend.

Mum, I love you more than you will ever know. I will keep that fight going for you....

6 in 6 challenge:

I am running 6 marathons in 6 countries in 6 days in September 2025, in loving memory of Mum. My efforts are focused on raising awareness and pushing research for ALK+ Lung Cancer treatments. This journey will take me through Scandinavia and the Baltic States:

Day 1: Riga, Latvia

Day 2: Tallinn, Estonia

Day 3: Helsinki, Finland

Day 4: Stockholm, Sweden

Day 5: Copenhagen, Denmark

Day 6: Oslo, Norway
