Calming and Functional Furniture

Look at  the picture above. Which classroom would you want to walk into every day? Which one would you feel safe and comfortable in? I know which one I would pick, the bottom with the neutral tones and calming atmosphere.

I  have been teaching preschool for 6 years now and this year I am starting on a new adventure and will be teaching for the Springdale Preschool Program in the Behavior Intervention Classroom. The districts vision is Teach Them All, which includes kids with trauma and emotional disturbances. Students with trauma react differently to different environments and have many different triggers. Research has shown that with a calming and neutral environment those triggers are minimized. 

Please, help me create  a safe and calming place for my students to learn with neutral tones and easier access to materials. With your donations I will be able to buy neutral and child size shelves, tables and a rug.
