Calmare Therapy - Hope for a life free from the pain of CRPS

Hi, my name is Mairead Keen. For eight years I have suffered from the excruciating and constant pain of CRPS. This pain is round the clock and has had a significant impact upon my mental health. There is no cure for CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and it has impacted every aspect of my life.
I was fourteen when I was first diagnosed with CRPS and FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) and given the devastating news that both conditions are lifelong and incurable.
CRPS surpasses child birth on the pain index and is nicknamed “the suicide disease”, with its diagnosis being recorded as the worst pain known to man. I can only describe CRPS as being wrapped in barbed wire and set on fire. A constant burning and stabbing.
CRPS has destroyed my life. I had to leave school and then college due to the pain and exhaustion and have spent my teenage years and early twenties in extreme pain and on morphine. My life has been ripped from me. I watch others live, as I exist as a prisoner of this condition.
Through research, I have recently become aware of Calmare Therapy (Scrambler Therapy) being delivered in Kilkenny, Ireland. This therapy is a non invasive, non narcotic method of treating CRPS. Scrambler therapy is highly effective and has a success rate of 80 - 90%.
I truly believe this could be a life changing treatment for me and a second chance at life. I am so eternally grateful for this opportunity and for any help. Thank you.
