In the not too distant future, an investigator travels to an outpost on the moon of Callisto where the fate of humanities exploration of the stars hangs in the balance.

Story Behind the Story:
CALLISTO'S END marks the return collaboration of Aaron Galindo (Writer, Assistant Director), Andrew Parkerton (Cinematographer) and Nathan Schiele (Director, Writer) who, reaching their final years of University, have been making films together since their High School years and plan to do so for many, many years to come. This is, by far, their most ambitious project to date and will require a larger budget than their previous film, FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD, to bring it to life.

About the Team:

Nathan Schiele - Director, Writer, Producer

Nathan Alexander Schiele is a director, writer and producer studying filmmaking at the University of Texas at Austin. He began filmmaking at a young age, experimenting with stop motion animation techniques. However, his first fully developed projects were produced during his high school and university years including The White Labyrinth, Ozymandias and Fortune Favors the Bold.


Aaron Galindo - Assistant Director, Writer, Producer

Aaron Hector Galindo is an assistant director, writer, and producer studying film and marketing at the University of Texas at Austin. With a lifelong passion for film he began his journey into filmmaking by making sketch comedy videos in middle school. While only working on one film in highschool Aaron has continued to take part in productions like Riot!, Ozymandias, Klaude, and Fortune Favors the Bold throughout his college career.


Andrew Parkerton - Director of Photography

Andrew Francis Parkerton is a cinematographer, and writer studying filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of The Arts. He began pursuing visual storytelling through film photography. This love would lead him to various successes, but he aspired to bigger things. After realizing many photographic principles carry-over to the cinematic medium, his knowledge propelled cinematography. This would lead him to shoot various short films: Her Skin, Fortune Favors the Bold, and Apastron. He also would pursue numerous camera and lighting jobs within the past four years.


Sam Roberts - Production Designer, Producer

Sam Roberts is a producer and production designer studying filmmaking and corporate communications at The University of Texas at Austin. From showrunning a TV show, Cereal Killer, for the local student-run FCC regulated station to recently producing her first feature, Big Trip, Sam has had her hand in the production of a wide range of projects. As for art department, she has recently designed for several Austin-based music videos, from Springful to Animals On TV, as well as headed art department on multiple undergrad theses such as Jane and Moon-calf.


Bryson Baker - 2nd Assistant Director, Producer

Bryson Alexander Baker is an assistant director and a line producer studying film and business at the University of Texas at Austin. Beginning in high school making several shorts with his friends for class, his passion for filmmaking continued into college where he worked on productions such as Down To Film, Foiled, and Rewind.

 - Costumes, make-up and props.
 - Gear and equipment rental.
 - Studio space rental fees.
 - Post production treatment.
 - Meals for cast and crew.
