Hello, my name is Monica Flatley, and I'm seeking help for my 16 year old cat named Calliope's emergency vet costs.
Early this Tuesday morning, Calliope started being unable to keep any of her food or water down. I was fortunately able to get her in with a non-emergency vet, where they did a physical exam, gave her an antinausea shot, and also did a blood panel and a urinalysis.
The first blood panel didn't show anything concerning, save for one value that is still within the normal levels but happens to be skirting that line, so the vet recommended running a more intensive panel to test her thyroid. We're still waiting on the results for that and for the urinalysis, and we unfortunately won't be getting those until Monday morning.
She had been faring pretty well for the past few days, but unfortunately the same thing started happening a few hours ago and I have had to take her to an emergency vet, because there is now some pinkness in her vomit. The exam fee is pretty hefty, and they're also going be performing an xray, as well as give her medication to help with the nausea/vomiting.
Any help, or even a share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so, so much for reading♡
