Calling the ultra Community to support Frenchy

”Community” is the word I hear more in ultra running than any other. We claim to be here for each other, and I believe we should be here for James Lambert, who needs us right now. He has a rare and aggressive form of sinus cancer. I believe he will beat this but he needs our support. Loss of income and the stress coming from the financial burdens this will create, is simply not what James should be worrying about. He was s fighting for his life. Many of us know him as “Frenchy” and without a doubt have at one point or another been impacted by his positivity.

This year at Hard Rock, after a challenging year, Frenchy told me how amazed he was by my results. He continued… showering me with positive compliments I probably don’t deserve. One conversation and my fire was reignited, my self belief came back. He probably had no idea how much those words meant to me, because he’s just Frenchy being Frenchy.
