Jeff is a real-life survivor, but unfortunately, the cancer has come back to test him again.
He has survived common melanoma (three times) and had a large mass removed from his shoulder/upper back. Thankfully, he obtained remission without having to go through chemotherapy in the past, and he is hoping to find the same success this time.
He has been on CPP LTD benefits since 2011 and unfortunately can not get health insurance.
The oral radiation pills (Zolinza) and the I.V. regiment is expensive, but he is on the drug trial which will save some money, but it is still not cheap. We are hoping this GoFundMe will help him cover expenses and the day-to-day costs associated with this treatment.
His melanoma has progressed into Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but on the positive side (if there is a "positive"), it is still based on the "T-cells", which is not near as aggressive as the NHL that occurs from "B-cells" and has a much lower success rate for remission. His outlook is very good!
Due to his previous treatment(s) and being on such a limited income, he has exhausted his small savings and is desperate need of some monetary help to cover the additional expenses he will have. Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
If you wish to know more information, please reach out to Jeff directly. He will be happy to explain in detail what is going on and what is required.
You can also send donations directly to him.
Thank you all, in advance!!
