"Calling, Dr. Bret Gilbert" #goals

Bret has the opportunity to attend the University of Oregon in his pursuit of his lifelong goal of a degree in medicine.  Bret leaves LBCC with his Associates of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT).  A 4.0 GPA over 31 LBCC institutional credits, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society.
After carefully planning his budget (both money and time), taking into consideration student aid, money saved from working at a cleaning service and summers in Alaska, parental donations, and future income from part time employment, it looks as though he will be just shy of what is needed in this first term (Jan-March).
We are all so proud of Bret's focus and desire to maintain full-time studies towards his goal and do not want him to lose focus on this bright future. Therefore, we ask for you to help in anyway you might be able to so he can keep his mind on his studies and not be forced to cut back on classes and risk losing student aid (full time status is a requirement) in order to pay basic living expenses.
Every little bit helps and all of you who know and love Bret know that your donations will be applied to very specific and positive purposes.
