A good family is in need of support this holiday season.
Wyatt Walker is the son of Brad and Tammy Walker. Wyatt was born on May 10th, 2010 with a rare genetic syndrome, known as CHARGE Syndrome. Wyatt spent most of the first year of his life in the NICU at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. Over the past 8 years, Wyatt has lived a very happy life with his Mom, Dad and 2 little brothers. Due to the complexity of his disorder he has required in home nursing care, physical therapy, countless surgeries/procedures, and numerous trips to St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatments and follow up appointments. Recently, Wyatt has encountered complications which have made it difficult for the specialists at Children’s to manage. Therefore, it has been recommended they travel to see the specialists at the CHARGE Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tammy has been on maternity leave due to the recent birth of their third son Kade. Brad has had to take time off-of work as well to take Wyatt to his doctor’s appointments in St. Louis. Currently, Brad and Tammy are on their way with Wyatt back to Children’s Hospital due to an emergent concern with Wyatt’s health. With the unexpected travel expenses and time off work, we are asking you to help the Walker Family. This Holiday Season, please keep Wyatt and his Family in your thoughts and prayers.
