Calling All Treasure Beach Tooth Fairies!

The Treasure Beach family has always stepped up to help people in need and to help one another. One of our own, Michael Bailey, our J1 Lifeguard, has been in terrible pain since early July. Julie took him to the new Maplewood Dentist before the July 4th weekend in hopes his tooth pain was an easy fix. Dr. Steve Wright not only made time to see him right away on a holiday weekend, he also completed an exam and x-rays, discovering his need for a double root canal. He was prescribed an antibiotic to take the edge off. Unfortunately, the only treatment to eliminate his tooth pain is a double root canal. We are asking for everyone’s help to raise the funds Michael needs to get the much-needed care.

As many may know, Michael is a very kind person who goes above and beyond for our guests. Tom and Miriam Martin of site 897 noticed that he had not been “himself” and asked if there was something we could do for him and suggested this GoFundMe account. Michael is working for us this summer to pay his college tuition. He is studying at the University of Technology in Jamaica for a Bachelor of Science in Digital Animation. He asks to work on his days off and often works double shifts at the pool and Bayville Package Store. When he is not working at the pool or package store, he’s cleaning up around Water Wars and scrubbing the men’s showers in the bathhouse. Let’s show this hardworking young man how much we appreciate his dedication and smile!
