Calling All Friends of Sailor!

Last week, our favorite canine party animal Sailorboy got mauled pretty severely. Even worse, the owner of the other dog refused to take responsibility and pretty much laughed Ashley away from the dog park. It's been a really stressful time but thanks to the quick and caring work of Veterinary Emergency Group in Williamsburg, they were able to stitch up the eyelid and keep his eyeball from further damage. He is now slowly recovering at home with a steady influx of love and treats.

It's been an expensive and very devastating weekend. Ashley is 6 months into a very difficult pregnancy and Sailor has been her closest companion throughout. She had no support at all during the incident from the dog owner (his dog is uninjured), who refused to even exchange numbers. In the end she patched him up on a very expensive hospital bill with money she could not afford to part from. It's caused an extra dose of stress and trauma to this crew, the last thing that is needed right now.

To all you Sailorfans out there, could you please lend a hand? This boy needs to get back to chill fun playtime and Ash needs to get in a space where she can bring her sweet baby girl into this world. Any contribution would be so appreciated!
