Hello and Thank you for visiting this page! Not sure if everyone knows; but one of the greatest, kindest souls, Alex Chapa, has suffered a hemorrhagic stroke at entirely too young an age. Anyone who has worked, laughed or been cared for by Alex knows his generosity and the depth of his heart. While we are grateful he has survived, he is still currently in the ICU and not out of the woods. He will hopefully be stabilized in the next month, but what follows is a long road in a rehabilitation center for OT/PT, and aftercare at home.
Most know he and Molly were blessed with the birth of Sofia 15 months ago. As daycare is incredibly expensive here in Seattle and, let’s be honest a father’s overwhelming love for his daughter, Alex actually stayed at home 4 days a week to care for Sofia. Molly is now at home, full time, caring for their daughter, their dogs and their home. FMLA will run out before Molly can return to full-time work, let alone Alex, so help is definitely needed. We have all started with gift cards, babysitting and dog walking; but what seems could help the most is money…this way they can worry about one less thing. Be it $10 or $10000, every little bit can help, and this amazing family deserves it. Please do what you can❤️
