Our family is in a fight, and we're asking for your help to stand with us. Three incredible sisters – Jennifer, Stacey, and Kellie – all North Bend natives, are facing cancer diagnoses right now.
Jennifer and Stacey are both undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The timing is particularly difficult for Stacey, who was recently laid off and is now navigating her health battle without the stability of employment. Our strong sister Kellie, who previously beat breast cancer in 2012, is now battling melanoma. Jennifer and Kellie are also mothers, bravely facing these challenges while caring for their children.
This unexpected triple diagnosis has shaken us, and the road ahead is long and expensive. We're launching this GoFundMe to provide a lifeline for Jennifer, Stacey, and Kellie as they navigate their treatments, medical appointments, and recovery. Your generosity will directly help with overwhelming medical costs, travel for appointments, and support for their families during this critical time. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to giving them the peace of mind they need to focus on getting well. Thank you for being a part of their fight.
A Message from Our Family: Don't Wait. Get Checked.
Our sisters' story is a stark reminder of how critical it is to prioritize our health. While we navigate this difficult journey, we want to share a crucial message with everyone reading this: Please, do not put off your health screenings.
Early detection saves lives. Regular check-ups, including breast exams, skin checks, and other recommended cancer screenings, can catch potential issues when they are most treatable. Listen to your body, know your family history, and talk to your doctor about what screenings are right for you.
Beyond screenings, embracing healthier lifestyle choices can also play a significant role in reducing cancer risk.
Our hope is that by sharing our story, we can not only garner support for Jennifer, Stacey, and Kellie but also encourage others to be proactive about their own health. Your well-being matters.
