Callie's Journey

Callie has been a warrior. She lives her everyday life with Sunflower Syndrome which is a rare form of epilepsy caused by the sun. This is so uncommon, that her family has to travel to Boston multiple times to get her the help she needs since not very many medical professionals can help her anywhere else, let alone in Colorado. She is an amazing little girl who loves gymnastics and baking for her family. She is a wonderful big sister to her brother a friend to everyone. Callie has so  much spark and gives so much love to everyone around her. With your help, her family can take her to Boston to learn more about her diagnosis and get her the help she needs to live a normal, healthy and happy life as she gets older. The help she gets now will determine if she will ever be able to drive a car or work a normal job with those terrible florescent lights. It's the things we sometimes take for granted that she would love the opportunity to experience some day. Every penny will help her and her parents pay for flights, medical bills and missing work.
